A new establishment is set to take over the Extended Stay America site in Laredo
A new hotel is looking to take over the space currently occupied by Extended Stay America β Laredo, with renovations expected to begin next year, according to a recent filed permit.
Filed Oct. 10, the permitΒ states that the hotel at 106 W. Village Blvd. will be renovated and rebranded as a Hyatt Studios under the Hyatt Hotels & Resorts umbrella.
Hyatt Studios features studio-style rooms designed for extended stays.
The project will involve a $2.8 million renovation across the property’s 40,000 square feet.
Work is expected to begin in January with completion projected for November 2026.
